Joe Biden had presided over two confirmation hearings by the Supreme Court; for Robert Bork (1987) and Clarence Thomas (1991). His work at that time had attracted criticism from several liberal legal groups and women’s organizations. They felt that he had not handled the hearings properly. These criticisms continue and question several of his abilities.
Every politician has controversies and highlights in his or her career. The same goes for Joe Biden. His illustrious career is marked by several problems and controversies. This will obviously have some effect on the votes he will receive and those that he will not. However, he can also be a capable candidate and can work for the betterment of the country.
